Dog Daycare:
Pawsitive Pups K9 Services is your dog’s home away from home. One of the toughest decisions a dog owner has to make is what to do with their dog when they go to work. When you are busy for a few hours or heading to work for the day, you can be assured your dog is in good hands.
Sure, some dogs are happy spending the day napping on the couch, but there’s more out there for your pet. DayCare provides dogs with important socialization, unlimited potty breaks, tons of exercise, structure, training and the pleasure of spending their days with their canid friends and our trainer.
We provide a balance of outdoor and indoor play and well deserved rest time all while keeping your pet safe. A family walk can be a great way to bond with your pet and get a little exercise; however, it’s simply not enough for active dogs. Getting sufficient daily exercise improves a dog’s quality of life. Daycare will meet your dog’s needs for exercise, attention and structure and is the perfect antidote for the bored or lonely dog. At daycare your best friend is fed, has outdoor play time in our one-acre fenced yard, pampered, destressed and has time to recharge. Whatever is best for you and your dog is what we strive to provide.
Our trainer is extensively trained in dog and wolf body language. Knowing canid lupus familiars (domestic dogs) body language, helps determine who can play with whom, and ensures that your dog will have a safe and fun experience. Our trainer monitors the dogs behaviors and applies positive training techniques to promote good habits!
At Pawsitive Pup K9 Services we want the best for your dog by keeping our human to dog ratio at 1:6. If your dog enjoys socializing with other dogs, warms up quickly to strangers and can demonstrates appropriate social skills, Pawsitive Pup K9 Services allows your dog to establish life-long friendship s with the other days.
🐾 Accepting dogs under 30 lbs.
Please note: We do not accept dogs with aggression history or unknown social issues.
Daycare Requirements:
🐾 We are a home based daycare therefore we only accept small and medium dogs under 35 lbs.
🐾 Crate trained preferred
🐾 No history of biting
🐾 Friendly off-leash with dogs and people
🐾 Must have up-to-date vaccines for DHPP & Bordetella (kennel cough)
🐾 Puppies: minimum 2 sets of vaccinations
🐾 Year round flea-prevention
🐾 Spay or neutered if over 6 months
🐾 Females: must stay home if in heat
Sick dogs with persistent coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or diarrhea will be sent home. The owner or emergency contact person must be available to pick up as soon as possible for the health and safety all the dogs in our care.
Trial Period:
Pawsitive Pup K9 Services has a two day trial period to confirm your dog is comfortable in our daycare. If we determine your dog isn’t fitting in, it doesn’t mean you have a bad dog. It is that our home was not the best fit for them. We want to ensure the safety and well-being of all the dogs. We will keep you informed on how your dog is doing during the trial period.
